Imagine Christianity ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by Michael C. McCormick, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through imaginechristianity.com. By using this Site and submitting any forms, you agree to the practices described here.

01

Information We Collect

We collect two categories of information: what you provide directly, and technical data your browser makes available when you interact with our forms.

Information you provide directly:

Contact Form: Your name, email address, subject line, and message content.

Donations: When you donate, you are redirected to PayPal's secure platform. We do not collect or store your payment card details. We receive a transaction confirmation and basic donor information (name, email) from PayPal upon completion.

Technical data collected automatically at form submission:

• Browser language and locale settings

• Screen resolution and estimated device type (desktop, mobile, or tablet)

• Your browser's reported time zone

• The URL of the page submitted from, and the referring URL that brought you to our Site

• Marketing attribution parameters in the URL — UTM source, medium, campaign, term, and content — as well as Google Click ID (gclid) or Facebook Click ID (fbclid) if you arrived via a paid advertisement

• Your IP address, collected server-side at the moment of form submission

• Your approximate geographic coordinates, only if you explicitly grant permission through your browser's location prompt — this is entirely optional

This technical data helps us understand how people find and engage with our ministry. It is not used to profile you individually or make automated decisions about you.

02

How We Use Your Information

To respond to your messages — your name, email, and message are used solely to reply to you.

To process donations — PayPal confirmation data is used to acknowledge your gift and maintain records.

To understand and improve ministry outreach — technical data is used in aggregate to understand how visitors find and use our Site. See Section 05 for details.

Ministry updates — only if you have expressly asked to hear from us.

We will not use your information for any purpose not listed here without your explicit consent.

03

No-Sale Policy

We do not sell your personal information. Period. Your name, email address, message content, IP address, and any other personal data you share with us will never be sold, rented, traded, or exchanged with any third party for commercial or marketing purposes — not now, not ever.

This applies to all information collected through forms, analytics, or any other means on this Site. We do not participate in data brokerage, advertising networks, or any arrangement where your personal data is a product.

04

Information Sharing

Beyond the no-sale commitment above, we share information only in these limited circumstances:

Analytics partners: Aggregated and pseudonymous technical data may be shared with Google Analytics 4. This does not directly identify you by name or email. See Section 05.

PayPal: When you donate, you are transferred to PayPal's platform for payment processing. See Section 08.

Legal requirement: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.

We do not share your personal information with any church, denomination, advertiser, data broker, or other commercial third party.

05

Analytics & Site Improvement

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our Site — which pages get the most engagement, what devices people use, and how they find us. This helps us invest wisely in the ministry's online presence.

What GA4 may receive: Pages visited, approximate geographic region (country/region level, derived from IP), browser language, device type, session duration, and traffic source including UTM parameters and click IDs. Google uses this data subject to its own privacy policy.

Enhanced conversions: When you submit the contact form, your name and email are passed to GA4's enhanced conversion feature in hashed (cryptographically scrambled) form. Google receives a mathematical fingerprint, not your raw name or email. This helps us measure the effectiveness of our outreach without exposing your identity.

What GA4 does not receive: Your full name, email address, message content, or payment information in identifiable form are never sent to Google Analytics.

Opting out: Install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on, or manage cookies in your browser settings at any time.

06

Cookies, Tracking & Cookie Consent

Cookies we set directly: Imagine Christianity does not set any first-party cookies for tracking, advertising, or session management.

Third-party cookies:

Google Analytics 4 — may set _ga and _ga_XXXXXXX cookies to distinguish users and sessions. These persist for up to 2 years.

Google Fonts — requests to Google's font servers may be logged.

YouTube — YouTube's cookies apply when you visit their platform via links on this Site.

PayPal — PayPal's cookies apply when you are redirected for donation processing.

Cookie consent banner: We have not yet deployed a cookie consent banner or consent management platform (CMP). We plan to implement one in a future update, at which point you will be given explicit control over analytics cookies before they are set. Until then, analytics tracking described in Section 05 operates on an implied-consent basis through continued use of this Site.

In the meantime, the contact form includes a required consent checkbox giving you clear notice before you submit. You may opt out of Google Analytics at any time using the opt-out add-on.

08

Donations & PayPal

⚠ Important: Donations to Imagine Christianity are not tax-deductible. Imagine Christianity is not a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your gift is a personal act of generosity to support Michael's ministry.

All donations are processed through PayPal. PayPal's collection and use of your information is governed by PayPal's Privacy Policy. We receive only a transaction confirmation and basic donor information to acknowledge your gift. All donations are final and non-refundable except in cases of documented error or fraud.

09

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information you have provided to us. You may also request deletion of your contact form submission from our server logs. Contact us at judgegently@gmail.com to exercise these rights.

We do not maintain marketing lists or subscriber databases without your express opt-in.

10

Security

We protect submitted information through server-side validation, honeypot bot detection (three independent layers), rate limiting on form submissions, and restricted access to log files. However, no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.

If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
